“Outside the Walls” event. Tim mentioned this last month at our town hall meeting. I won’t include this in every week’s announcements but wanted to include it today as it was brought up in the quick town hall discussion today. It will be very important to have everyone’s participation in this event so please keep these |
RECAP OF TOWN HALL:
· We have money; budget will be finalized soon.
· We will be re-visiting the “job cards” that we started just prior to shutdown almost two years ago. There will be two cards created; one will be for any jobs you are currently doing (kitchen, janitorial,
audio/visual, connect group facilitator, etc.) and a new card will be created for passions you have that you would like to share or provide a service with or a job/duty that you would be interested in doing. A couple of examples given of services to provide are Cherelle brining back the finance class she’s done
before or Shawna working with anyone who has questions or needs help with issues involving health insurance or medical bills (since that’s what I’ve been doing for the past almost 20 years). More will be coming about this, but be thinking about your jobs & interests!

· Reminder about the work party at the Eugene church on 2/26 at 11:00.
· Reminder to sign up to be the facilitator for the 1st Saturday night events. (Sign up sheet has been placed on the bulletin board.)

I will continue to add any prayers received on request slips during Sunday service to the prayer wall on our website unless the slip specifically says that it is not to be posted on-line. The prayer wall is available 24/7 for anyone to add a prayer. Although the prayer wall is on Eugene’s website it is also open for Salem members to use! Once at https://gcriverroad.com/ hover over the ANNOUNCEMENTS heading at the top of the screen & then click on Prayer Wall when it appears. Scroll to the bottom of the prayer list to enter your request into the
provided fields. The name field is required; however, if you would like to add a request anonymously, you can enter “anonymous” there. You will still have to enter your email address, but it will not be posted anywhere. Once you have filled out the four fields (name, email, prayer request & select to share), click submit to post your request to the wall.
